Everyone has used Microsoft Internet Explorer once or even to download other browsers for Windows. Although the Microsoft tried to improve it with Internet Explorer 11, the efforts weren’t enough.
Microsoft recently released a new update to its Xbox for PC application, which includes a lot of new features and fixes, but most importantly, it introduces a new game performance indicator for game downloads.
Internet Explorer has a humorous tombstone in South Korea
Internet Explorer is an old browser that can always be found behind the latest browsers. Although the company tried to improve it for Internet Explorer 11 users, the effort did not last.
So it’s no surprise that Microsoft supported the browser after 27 years, but some fans took it seriously. South Korean software engineer for Microsoft, Jung Ki-young, paid tribute to IE with a ridiculous tombstone.
This tombstone is popular on the Internet due to its epitaph, which says : “He was a good tool to download other browsers“.
Windows users know that it’s not convenient to use Internet Explorer, so users only use it to download other browsers, such as Google Chrome.
According to Reuters, Jung Ki-young spent 430,000 won (about $ 330) on the design, and while Microsoft announced that it would stop in 2021, Jung ordered a tombstone for the web browser on that date. The monument is located in a South Korean city called Gyeongju, and if we take into account the exact location, it can be seen on the roof of Brother Jung Ki-young’s cafe.
Microsoft has moved Internet Explorer users to its Edge browser by default, and the company also says the Edge browser is the future of IE.
It seems fair because Microsoft Edge has become popular. A few months later, it gained many users and became the second most popular desktop browser with almost 10% capital.
